HELLO, I'M QUIQUE
I was born in San Antonio de Areco, a traditionalist town in Argentina. Life took me to Lobos, where there is also a gaucho atmosphere, and it was here that Pingos started...
My relationship with horses started when I was 4 years old, when my dad put me on a horse for the first time and I was instantly attracted to it. A couple of years later my grandparents gifted me Catalina, a little horse, and from that moment I started riding every day. Or rather, day and night, I never stopped!
I did horseback riding and jumping for years, I met the people of my village and I learned more and more, not only about horses, but also about gauchos customs and traditions.
When I grew up, I settled in Lobos, where I gradually owned a lot of horses trained by me, to go out to ride or play polo with friends and continue to improve myself in the world of Creole riding.
A la vez que salía con amigos o gente que venía recomendada a hacer cabalgatas por caminos rurales, fue surgiendo la idea de armar una Escuela y transmitir todo lo que aprendí a lo largo de estos años a quien quiera acercarse.
Today, together with those who assist me, we are fully dedicated to this activity, which fills us with pride and satisfaction, and we know that whoever passes through Pingos del Salado takes with them a little piece of the love we have for horses.
